CMH Space Flooring Products, Inc., based in Wadesboro, N.C., has purchased Ellis Flooring Sales Co.

Ellis, a premiere commercial flooring and flooring supply distributor, has successfully serviced the Carolinas and Virginia for more than 50 years and will continue to operate as an independent entity and separate commercial division of CMH Space Flooring Products, according to CMH Space. Breck Berkey will remain as president of the Ellis Division.
Hoy Lanning, CMH Space ceo, said the two companies will complement each other. Ellis has a strong background in commercial flooring and floor covering supplies with five branches throughout the Carolinas and CMH Space has a strong residential and commercial following, he noted.
“This is an opportunity for us to strengthen our operations and logistics. Ellis will definitely benefit from this affiliation with CMH Space ... Our combined staffs have decades of experience that will benefit established customers, new customers and current and new vendors,” added Berkey.
